Be The Best In Show

“What do we take to our trade show and how do we present it?” This is the question all those with a booth reservation are asking themselves this spring. Hopefully these tips can help you answer that question and get your business ready to have a great showing.

The first thing you must do is get the dimensions of your booth space, ask if electrical outlets are available and if there will be a table in your booth. Once you have this information you can decide the best way to spotlight your service. Here are some tips to help you do just that.

Stand out from the crowd - Cutting edge displays certainly attract potential clients to your both and give an immediate first impression of your company being professional and current. Depending on frequency of use and budget constraints, however, a full new booth may not always be practical. There are many great economical alternatives that can still give you a great look such as creative use of bannerstands or a simple pop-up booth. Graphics on many of these items can be changed easily to keep you up to date or able to reach different target markets.
If making use of the typically supplied tables, be sure to complete the look with an imprinted table cloth or runner. These now come in several styles from traditional full cloths to modern looking stretch wraps. With full coverage dye-sub printing, even your table can make a big impact.

Make them remember you afterwards – Pass out a giveaway that will make them stop and pick it up. It drives them into your booth and they take something away from it at the same time. There are so many things that can be imprinted these days; the possibilities are endless. Think about your service and get creative. The giveaway that stands out gets passed around the office and when your service is needed they will remember you.

Display it with simplicity – literature racks and brochure stands are a great way to present your printed information with style and ease. Stacking them on the table is messy and uninviting. Your goal is to share your message, so have it stacked and presented in a way that makes your potential client reach out and take your message with them.

It never hurts to have a drawing for a prize. People are a sucker for a gift card or electronic device. Have visitors and entrants sign a guestbook, fill in a ticket, or drop their business cards into a bowl. The great thing about the giveaway is that you can then use this information at a later date to make follow up contacts. It is a win-win.
